I have to admit Earth Day is not something we hear a lot about in Australia. It doesn't mean Australians aren't conscious of environmental issues; it just means Earth Day is not promoted widely enough to reach public consciousness (unlike Clean Up Australia Day).

My sister sent me this photo that she took yesterday:
I miss Australia! This photo makes me happy, because it means there's enough moisture in the atmosphere for a rainbow to appear. I'm glad they are getting more rain now -- it was desperately dry before; they really needed the rain badly.
